My little girl is sick. Grace has had a pretty nasty stomach bug for the last 48 hours and it hasn't gotten any better. However, in the midst of being rather puny, she's made me laugh a lot tonight. (How I wish I had more time to sit and laugh with my family). Earlier, after dinner, she ran up to me and said, "Daddy, let's go play with the markers. Hey! That's a good idea!" Unless you could hear her say it, you probably wouldn't understand how funny this comment truly was. Anyway, just wanted to write about it so I would remember it at a later date...and hopefully...laugh a little more.

A Family Portrait
Last night, our family met a friend of ours (who happens to be an excellent photographer) at the park to take a few photos. This one's my favorite. I just sit and stare at this picture in amazement that God has granted me a wife and two wonderful, amazing children. I pray that God will use them in mighty ways to glorify his name in the years to come. I've posted some other cute pics below this message. Hope you enjoy!

My First Entry
This is my first entry. I'm just trying to figure it out! For quite some time, I've been wanting to begin the discipline of journaling. However, I had not considered the option of blogging. Hannah does a great job keeping our family informed about life events and changes by using our family blog site. Anyway, hopefully I will be able to communicate various insights of being a dad and the amazing things which God continues to do within our family and teach me along the way. I'll have to write more later once I learn what I'm doing. Until then, God bless you!
